Star Party

Join us at Dripping Springs Ranch Park and enjoy a night under the stars! Throughout the evening, you and your family and friends can gaze at the constellations above, view galaxies far far away through a telescope, and look at and learn about sunspots from our local expert astronomer.

For better star gazing, it is important that we limit light pollution and allow for eyes to adjust to the darkness. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to set up chairs and park your vehicle. Please avoid using flashlights if possible, red-light assistance will be provided to minimize light exposure.

Parking will be on the asphalt along the building and is a short walk to the lower field. Blankets and chairs are encouraged. Restrooms are located inside the building near parking.
