Home School Discovery Days
Homeschool Discovery Days will return in August!
Join us at Dripping Springs Ranch Park for hands-on nature exploration, STEAM activities, and community building. Each session includes a guided hike, story time, crafts, discussion, and playtime. Parents are welcome to stay or drop off. Bring a snack and your curiosity! Chairs, blankets, and warm clothes are recommended in winter months.
When: 1st Monday of each month | Session Time: 10:30AM – 12:30PM

Astronomy Camp

Embark on a celestial journey this summer with an immersive, hands-on astronomy camp designed for young explorers and their families. Recommended for students entering 4th through 8th grade, along with a parent or guardian, “Star Camp” will transform the astro-curious into confident stargazers over the course of 4 observation sessions. Participants will master the operation of their own telescopes while observing the dark skies of Dripping Springs, from the familiar shapes of constellations and deep-space star clusters to the craters of Earth’s moon and the orbiting moons of our neighboring planets. The adventure includes a Night Sky Scavenger Hunt and concludes with an End of Camp Sky Party, where students can showcase their newfound expertise to friends, family, and the entire Dripping Springs community.
When: Mondays and Wednesdays from June 15 - June 24 | Session Time: 9 PM - 11 PM

REFUND POLICY:
Refund or transfer requests must be received by 5PM 14 days prior to the beginning of the program session. We are happy to accommodate transfer requests only if the requested session is not at capacity. Credit card or check refunds will be processed within two business days of being received.
• Full Tuition due at time of registration per session.
• $20 Administrative fee applied to any withdrawals/transfers per session per child
• No refunds given to camper withdrawals within 14-days prior to camp session start.
• 10% sibling discount applied after one full price registration per week.
• 100% refund if camp is canceled by the Parks & Community Services Department.
